After an incredibly successful Teen Poetry & Short Story Contest in 2021, we are excited to announce that we are bringing the contest back for a second year. Show-off your creative writing skills by submitting your short story and/or poem starting April 19. Good luck!
Teens ages 13 to 19.
We want YOU to submit original works of poetry or fiction to our Teen Poetry & Short Story Contest. Entries must be 1000 words or less. Our panel of WPL judges will be using basic judging criteria for each category to pick the winners. Teens are allowed to submit a maximum of 1 short story and 1 poem only.
